The Best Thing You Can Do When You Start Blogging…

by thought on November 27, 2007

The best thing you can do when you start blogging is to find a positive blog to follow. You might think with hundreds of thousands of blogs circulating that this is an easy thing to do… Well it’s not! Finding a positive blog that you like to read is like finding a great friend.

Every month or so I find a few blogs which blow me away with their pure genius approach to building positive rapport with the readers. Here are a few blogs I have found in the past week that I will continue to visit for months to come.

BloggerNoob.com

This might just look like another make money online blog when you first visit, but read on and you will see something more. BloggerNoob is quickly establishing himself as a “noob” in the world of blogging. Sound strange? Well it should. It’s actually a very good idea. When you first started blogging did you find yourself sifting through massive communities to find a simple answer? I remember never really finding all my answers in just one place. All these blogs I read were so far along and seemed almost impossible to compete or even communicate with. It’s almost as though they tell you how to generally make money, and intimidate you with a, “you never get this,” (Borat reference) aura at the same time.

MikesMoneyMakingMission

Do you visit JohnChow.com on a daily basis? I used to when I was first breaking into the blogging community and trying to figure out how things work. Yet, when I had absorbed all I could or noticed from JohnChow, I began to venture out into the blogosphere to find something new and fresh to experience. Needless to say, I found it. Mike’s Money Making Mission is not your average, “here is how to get rich,” website. Mike is just a guy who has clearly been successful in other ventures and it starting into blogging. His about page (£10 In A Tin To Full Time Employment) was the most interesting and intriguing I have read in some time. If you are interested in breaking the mold and actively making money, you should visit his site- it will enlighten you.

You Can’t

Every time I read a phrase in a blog that begins with, “you can’t,” I get a little disheartened and will probably never visit that blog again. Why you ask? – I am sick of reading about how someone did something and I can’t because it’s too difficult or impossible. I don’t surround myself with negative people, and I especially don’t surround myself with negative people who blog.

So if you want to read something positive and stop getting bombarded with negativity, visit one of these two sites and you will find your way.
