Away with the Blogroll: RSS Flash

For awhile now I have been annoyed by the default, “Blogroll” in Word Press for a number of reasons. Mainly, I didn’t like the fact that it took up so much space.

So you may have noticed on the left of the site I have replaced it with a RSS Flash component. You will now be able to see:
Site name, URL, Description, Title, and Specific Article URL.  There are currently five sites on the list and they are randomly generated when you enter my site.

I also included a scroll bar so that you will be able to see a good number of posts from the site. It’s not yet very colorful but I just put it all together today and I guess you could call it the, “Beta.”

I just found an issue when using IE with the component. FireFox and Opera work fine though…
