A Few Short Tips to Improving your Creativity

 One

Separate yourself from your medium. If you spend most of your time at a computer, go outside and take a break. If you don’t already do this you will be surprised. Just fifteen minutes doing something unrelated can work wonders on you progress.

Two

Take time to, “think outside of the box.” If you are trying to create something new and innovative, following in others footsteps is the worst way to do so. The reason it is so difficult being that you are hoping for something completely new but using an already established template to build it. Every now and again you have to take ten steps back and re-access the basics.
Three
Somewhat along the same lines as the previous tip; take a break from your peers and groups. Again if you spend all your time in one area, your work will likely reflect this. If you frequently traffic a certain blog or group of blogs you will have to take a break from these to create something different and unique.
