Now that I’ve been blogging for nearly a year, I can say that I’ve seen a wide variety of bloggers.  From the personal to professional blogger, I’ve seen just about every kind.  Yet, there is one type that I don’t see too often, and I’m glad.

From time to time I come across a blogger who does not communicate effectively.  Now this is fine, but when I find something interesting about his/her content then I am prone to return to this site.   You might be asking me why I just don’t leave the blog, find another, and never return…  Well, like I said before, if I find something endearing about a person, I tend to stick around.  However, I still find it really annoying when the person doesn’t actively work on or at least proof-read their content.  I’m not saying that this blog is perfect, but I at least try to make it readable on some level.

So now that I’m done complaining, I’m going to go visit one of my favorite blogs, and sift through another article today.

So, if you read my previous posts, then you know that I have been learning and testing out my knowledge of PPC (Pay Per Click).  Needless to say, I’ve been losing money from the start.  It’s not as though I didn’t know this would happen, and I actually never assumed I would making any to begin with.  However, I knew going into PPC that I had to get testing out of the way.  I relate it to learning to swim.  You can ask all the questions you’d like, but without jumping in the water and getting your bearings, you will never gain experience.  Experience is an interesting thing.  You can read all you’d like about anything, but you may never achieve the same reasoning or hands on feeling that others might.

So I went to the rally on Saturday and it was amazing. I stood in line for 3-4 hours, but it was worth it. My only regret is that I wish I would have sold some apparel. There were nearly 8000 people there and I bet I could have sold at least 100 buttons for $3-$5 a piece. Well, anyways I setup a website as sort of an experiment with local advertising. ObamainMissoula.com - it has some affiliate advertising and also some T-shirts from cafepress. It’s been a busy two weeks lately in my life.  I just got married about a week ago.  My girl friend (now wife) had been together for about 5 years.  I have also devoted a lot of time to getting a few PPC campaigns up and running.

This is totally unrelated but, I heard today that Obama is going to be in my town on Saturday and I plan on going to see him.  Plus I will take a video of him with my new Flip video camera…  I guess I forgot to mention that I did end up purchasing one.  But anyway, hopefully I will get good seats so that the video comes out well.   I will probably host the video here and hopefully he will say something significant to make the video popular…lol.

Well, it’s just about 2am and that means off to bed.
